THE ENGINEER // SELF-TAUGHT, NO MANUAL

About

I’m Stefan — based in Copenhagen, and entirely self-taught. No university degree; a career built out of projects I taught myself how to finish.

Five-plus years at a Nordic MSP took me from the service desk to platform engineering — running an operations shift, leading the consolidation of three monitoring platforms across five countries, then building a consolidated automation engine on an estate shared by banks, military and government. Now going independent.

The docs end three layers before the real behaviour starts.

What pulls me in hardest is the work I’m not yet sure I can do — systems that don’t come with a clean manual. I take them apart at a whiteboard, down to functions small enough to build, then reassemble. Particles flow like packets; I carve order through messy automation.
